Visual StateSharp is a Finite State Machine design tool for programmers, designers and 3D artists. Visual StateSharp is a third generation tool, built on internally developed, tried and tested software. We use Visual StateSharp to develop its own user interface. This new version takes advantage of the Visual Studio Integration Program to place the powerful features of a visual state designer right inside Visual Studio.NET 2003!

Visual StateSharp makes designing finite state machines easy and enjoyable. Instead of manually creating your FSM using switch statements, jump tables or classes, use our powerful diagram tool. By visualising the states and their connections you will use a part of your brain, the visual cortex, to develop a true understanding of your machine. You will be able to create state machines that are more complex, more powerful and more reliable than using traditional text-based methods.

Unlike some software costing thousands of dollars, Visual StateSharp will generate your code to produce a fully functional state machine in C++, C#, or add your own language. This is not just a documentation tool!
